The Yellow-shouldered Amazon has a white face above the beak, yellow brow and below eye and turquoise-blue
lower cheeks as well as the yellow "shoulders".
It is native to arid desert areas of Venezuela and the Netherlands Antilles.
The yellow shoulders are not always visible.
