Orange-winged Amazon Parrot Amazona amazonica

The orange wing patches that give the Oranged-winged Amazon its name are more visible in flight. The bird is native to northern South America from Colombia to central Brazil.

Unlike the Blue-fronted Amazons with yellow on their heads, the Orange-winged has pale blue rather than yellow around the eye.

A subspecies of the Oranged-winged is native to the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. It is slightly larger and has more orange on the wing.
