Addax Nasomaculatus addax

The Addax, also called the Screwhorn Antelope, is native to the Sahara region of North and West Africa and is critically endangered in the wild.

Their pale coats help to keep them cool in the sun.

In winter, particularly in captivity in cold climates (Eastern Europe, Canada), they develop thicker, darker coats.
