The Australian Pelican, obviously native to Australia but also to Fiji, New Guinea and parts of Indonesia (both coastal and freshwater),
has distinctive black-edged wings with a white centre and also a face that looks as if the grey-outlined, yellow-bordered eyes and
grey-lines on the pink bill have been painted on. It has a longest bill of any living bird in the world.
The "painted" grey lines on the pink lower bill also distinguish the Australian Pelican (first photo above also includes Great White for comparison).
