The Yellow-billed Stork, related to the Milky and the Painted Storks of Asia, is native to sub-Saharan Africa.
It is sometimes called the Wood Stork, as is its other relation, the American Woodstork of tropical America.
The white plumage takes on a delicate pink in the breeding season, with pink legs and a redder bill.
Brown juveniles look similar to those of the other three species in the genus.
