Pale-headed Rosella Platycercus adscitus

The Pale-headed Rosella is native to the northeast of Australia.

It has a golden head and upper back, a blue body and outer wings and a red vent.

The female (above centre/right) has a paler head than the male (above left), the latter being more yellow and more strongly marked.

The female (above left) also has a paler blue front than the male (above centre).
