Eastern Rosella Platycercus eximius
The colourful Eastern Rosella, like all Rosella parrots, is native to Australia, the Eastern
is native to the southeast of the country.
It is also known as the Golden-mantled or Cecilia's Rosella (especially the elecica or
ceciliae subspecies).
One of the white-cheeked group of rosellas.
One of the most colourful and photogenic
parrots.
