White Eared Pheasant Crossoptilon crossoptilon

The White Eared Pheasant is not a white-eared pheasant but is a white pheasant and one of four "eared" species which have whiskers of feathers sticking up like horns. It is native to high-altitude forests of China.

Unusually for pheasants, male and female Eared Pheasants have similar plumage and appearance, although the hens are slightly smaller.
