The Blue Eared Pheasant is not a blue-eared pheasant but is a blue-grey pheasant and one of four "eared" species which have whiskers of feathers sticking up like horns. (They are also not the "horned" pheasants, - those are the Tragopans). The Blue Eared Pheasant is native to mountain forests of central China.
