Fruit Doves are a diverse and colourful genus of fruit-eating, forest-dwelling doves/pigeons from southeast Asia and Australasia.
The Superb Fruit Dove, also called the Purple-crowned Fruit Dove (not Purple-capped), is native to southern Philippines/Indonesia, New Guinea and eastern Australia.
