Ruddy Quail Dove Geotrygon montana
Quail-doves from the American tropics are medium-sized, ground-dwelling doves which, although able to fly well, spend most of their time on the ground in shrubbery and forest floors like the Asian "Gallicolumba" Ground Pigeons.
The Ruddy Quail-dove is native to much of Central and tropical South America and the Carribean.
Male and female have similar plumage.
