The Asian Pied Starling, also called the Pied Myna, is native to India, Indonesia and part of southeast China.
(Moved from "Sturnus" genus to older name "Gracupica.")
Male and female have similar pied plumage and orange eye-rings and base of bill;
different subspecies have yellower or redder orange hues and more/less extensive eye-rings/white cheeks.
Above right is a bald starling, a problem also occasionally seen in the Common Mynah.
More juveniles. The related, extremely rare Javan Pied Starling/Myna of Java, Sumatra and Bali, Indonesia,
(G. jalla - link below), which may now be extinct in the wild,
looks similar but has an entirely ivory-coloured beak with no orange or red base - see link below.
