Red-throated Parrot Finch Erythrura psittacea

The Red-throated Parrot Finch (also Parrotfinch) is native to forest and shrub of the Pacific island of New Caledonia. In addition to its red throat it has a red rump and, sometimes, particularly males, a red tail.
