Red-throated Parrotfinch Erythrura psittacea

The Red-throated Parrotfinch (also Parrot Finch) is native to forest and shrub of the Pacific island of New Caledonia.

In addition to its red throat it has a red rump and, sometimes, particularly males, a red tail.
