Blue-faced Parrot Finch Erythrura trichroa

The Blue-faced Parrot Finch (also Parrotfinch), so called because of its bright colours, is native to north-eastern Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia, Japan and other Pacific islands.

Males and females have similar plumage, but the males have slightly richer colours.
