Forbes Parrot Finch Erythrura tricolor

Forbes' or the Tricoloured Parrot Finch (also Parrotfinch), so called because of its blue, green and red colours, is native to dry forest and savannah of Indonesia and East Timor.

Males have darker, richer blue plumage than females.

Females have a muted version of the tricolor plumage.
