The Green Vine Snake is sometimes called the Flatbread Snake to distinguish from the Asian "Green Vine Snakes"
(especially the Sri Lankan), the Asian also being called Long-nosed Whip Snakes. It is also a long, very slender, green snake that
can reach 2 metres long and has a pointed, arrow-shaped head. Its green colour provides good camouflage in bushes.
It is native to Central America and most of the northern South America, from Mexico through to Peru/Brazil.
