The Puerto Rican Boa, endemic to Puerto Rico, is a mainly brown constrictor growing to nearly 9 feet (nearly 3 metres) long. Like the Cuban Boa, prey includes bats which are caught by hanging over cave mouths and catching leaving or returning bats in the snake's jaws before constricting them to death.
