The Yellow-banded Poison (Dart) Frog lives in primary rainforests of northeastern
Brazil, Colombia, Guyana and Venezuela.
Sometimes called the Bumblebee Poison Frog, the yellow banding on black is designed, like those of bees and wasps,
to show potential predators that this frog is not on the menu.
The yellow can range from pale to orange and the extent and patterns vary enormously.
Diet is mainly ants, termites, beetles, crickets and spiders.
