The Madeira(n) Wall Lizard was endemic to the Atlantic island of Madeira but has accidentally been introduced to the Azores by ship.
Adult male, above left with spots, and female, above right with stripes, look different.
Edward Scissorhands here has eaten all the pies.
The forked tail which happens when one breaks incompletely then heals but another still re-grows.
