Anglo-nubian Goat Capra aegagrus hircus

Goats have been domesticated for thousands of years. The Anglo-nubian Goat is descended from ancient Egyptian domestic (Nubian) goats combined with English stock.

The breed has floppy ears hanging down on its cheeks and a slightly convex face profile.

The billies (males) have horns which are flattened backwards on the head and curved. The nannies don't have horns. (Above right shown with Blackface Sheep.)
