Wood Mice and many small garden birds such as Dunnocks (above) are happy to forage together.
The Great Tit fledgling has learnt that the mouse is no threat
The Wood Mouse is brave enough to forage with larger birds such as Pigeons.
"Is that a long, pink worm, Woody?"
"No Robin, it's my tail."
"Are you sure it isn't a worm?"
"Anyway, I could do with a new tail."
"Bye!" (Not sure who startled whom.)
Wood Mice are also brave enough to dine with Squirrels.
