Miniature Mediterranean Donkey Equus asinus

The Miniature Mediterranean Donkey, also called just Miniature Donkey, is an old breed of domestic donkey from Sicily and Sardinia bred especially for walking in circles pulling a millstone to grind corn. Today they are more likely to be pets.

They are no more than 3 feet high (less than a metre) at the shoulder (withers) and come in a range of coat colours (white, black, grey, browns and mixtures).
