African Forest Buffalo Syncerus caffer nanus

The African Forest Buffalo, also called the Congo Buffalo, is native to forests western equatorial Africa.

It is the smallest subspecies of the African Buffalo, - the nominal Cape Buffalo and the Savannah Buffaloes not only being much larger but looking quite different in coat colour and size/structure/shape of horns.

They live in small herds.
