Caught red-handed! The Red-handed Tamarin, also called Golden-handed with the scientific name "midas"
(all he touched turned to gold) is native to South America north of the Amazon.
The Black Tamarins south of the Amazon have black hands and feet.
Male and female have similar colouring. They live in small groups with a dominant, breeding pair and all the group,
especially the father, taking care of the offspring.
As with all tamarins (and monkeys), grooming is a key activity.
