Marmosets have long incisors (front teeth) adapted to chisel small holes in trees to drink sap and gum.
Tamarins have longer canine teeth for meat eating. The Silvery Marmoset has distinctive white/light-grey fur all over except
a bare pink face and ears and a long black tail. It is native to Brazil.
They live in family groups of parent and successive offspring. Mother gives birth to twins and father
and older siblings help with childcare, especially carrying the babies.
