Garnett's Greater Galago, also called the Northern Greater Galago, is native to coastal and highland forests
of Somalia, Kenya and Tanzania.
Larger than most other galagos or bushbabies (except the Brown Greater Galago), they have a head/body length of
25-30cm (around one foot) and a tail length of some 30-40cm - the long tail for arboreal balance. The lemur common ancestry is clear.
They are mainly solitary, territorial and mainly nocturnal. There are four subspecies.
