The Tamiops Squirrel, also called Swinhoe's Striped Squirrel, is one of four similar Asiatic Striped Squirrels
and is native to Myanmar, China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.
Male and female look alike, somewhat like small Chipmunks. There are four subspecies over their range.
Very fast tree-top canopy squirrels, they never seem to stop moving.
Unusually for rodents, they rob nectar by chewing a hole in the base of flowers.
