Annam Walking Stick Medauroidea extradentata

The Annam, also Vietnamese, Walking Stick is a stick insect native to forests of Vietnam. Adult females are up to 12cm long. Males are smaller. Both are brown and wingless. Juveniles are green. Females have two small horns on their head. Males are rare and females can reproduce asexually (parthenogenically) by just laying unfertilised eggs. Lifespan 5-7 months.
