The Black and Yellow Spotted Longhorn Beetle is native to most of Europe through to the Near East Asia. Its wasp-like colour pallette warns predators that it is distasteful or toxic but it is harmless. It flies to flowers between May and August feeding on nectar and pollen. Adults reach 20mm long.
