The Eucidella genus of beetles contains some 50 species/subspecies.
They are called both "(Horned-)Flower Beetles" and "Buffalo Beetles", the latter due to the forked horn on the head of the males.
(Some other types of beetle are also known as buffalo beetles and other types called flower beetles).
Eucidella aethiopica is native to forests of Ethiopia. Only the male has the horned head.
Diet is leaf litter for grubs (larvae - which can grow to some 6 cm) and sweet, rotting fruit for adults.
