Oxythyrea cinctella is a flower chafer beetle native to Kazakhstan where
these photos were taken, and to the Middle East, where its common name is the Middle East(ern) Flower Scarab, and to other parts of
the Caucasus and Central Asia. It is some 7-11mm long and closely related to the slightly larger White-spotted Barbary/Rose
