Redeye Tetra Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae

The Redeye Tetra is native to freshwater of the upper Parana, Paraguay and Uruguay river systems. In addition to its bright red upper eye-ring, it has a silver body and a white-edged black patch near the tail. The fish grows to some 7 cm long.
