The Black Line Tail Tetra is native to the Rio Sao Francisco and Itapicuru basins of Brazil.
It has a silvery body with a black anal fin line that continues up to the upper tail fin (reminiscent of a small Black-finned
or Sickle-backed Bryson). Some, as those above, also have a black lateral line joining the other line in the tail.
Shoaling fish, they grow to a maximum of 7cm long.
