Vogelkop Blue-eye Pseudomugil reticulatus

The Vogelkop Blue-eye is a rainbowfish native to streams of western Indonesian Papua. The Dutch name "vogelkop", meaning bird's head, does not apply directly to the fish, but to the Bird's Head Peninsula (after its shape) of West Papua. The fish grows to some 3 cm long and, as its name indicates, has bright pale blue eyerings.
