The Grime ("Grimay") Rainbowfish, also called Dority's, is native to heavily-vegetated lagoons, rivers, streams
and floodplain swamps of the Grime River region of northern West Papua, Indonesia.
A shoaling species, males (shown above) are much deeper-bodied and more strongly-marked than females. They can grow to 10cm long.
Like other Rainbowfish, eggs are scattered on plants and the fish show no parental care.
