(Common) Nase Chondrostoma nasus

The Nase, called the Common Nase when needed to distinguish from other species of Nase, is a carp family species of shoaling, migratory fish native to deep, fast rivers of continental Europe. With its silver, torpedo-shaped body and orange tail and fins, it can look similar to the Chubb.

It can grow to about half a metre long.
