Vietnamese Multi-banded Zebra Loach Yunnanilus/Micronemacheilus cruciatus

The Vietnamese Multi-banded Zebra Loach (surely multi-banded or zebra as both indicate the many dark bars) is endemic to well-vegetated streams, ponds, lakes and swamps of Vietnam.

A schooling species of dwarf loach, it grows to 3.5 or 4cm long. Females are usually larger than males.
