Galaxy Gudgeon Giuris charpini
The Galaxy Gudgeon, also called the Charpini Snakehead Gudgeon, is native to freshwater and brakish water of
the tropical west Pacific including northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.
Split out from the Common Snakehead Gudgeon, with other species, in 2020, it is ginger brown with numerous,
sparkly light spots and orange fin markings. It grows to 12-20cm long.
