Giant Red-tailed Gourami Osphronemus laticlavius

The Giant Red-tailed Gourami, also called the Redtail Giant Gourami and similar variations, is a relative of the Giant Gourami of Southeast Asia and the Borneo Giant Gourami. Like the latter, it is endemic to Borneo, being native only to a couple of river basins in Malaysia's Sabah. It can reach some 50cm long and is classed as endangered.
