Zacapu Goodeid Allotoca zacapuensis

The Zacapu Goodeid is native only to Lake Zacapu in western central Mexico and is relatively rare in the lake. It was described by science only around year 2000. Adults reach some 3cm long. Like other goodeids, the female gives birth to live young.
