Bandfin Splitfin Allodontichthys zonistius

The Bandfin Splitfin, also called Banded Splitfin, is a goodeid endemic to streams in the the states of Colima and Jalisco on the Pacific coast of Mexico. It grows to some 5cm long typically but can reach 6cm. Males have a silvery sheen and a lateral line; the lateral line of the browner females is spaced dark spots.
