Slate Corydoras Corydoras/Hoplisoma concolor

Corydoras are small catfish native to South America. Their name "helmet" refers to the two bony plates that protect their body in lieu of scales. The Slate Corydoras is native to western tributaries of the Orinoco basin, Venezuela. It grows to 6cm long.
