The Cobalt Blue Zebra is part of the Zebra complex of the Mbuna ("rock fish") cichlids of Africa's Lake Malawi,
so named because many of them have dark vertical bars on their flanks. It is native to the Nkhata Bay area on the west shore but has been
introduced elsewhere on the lake.
The dark bars can be faint or not visible. It grows to 8cm long.
Some "Cobalt Blue Zebras" are pearl white.
