Red-lipped River Cichlid Wallaceochromis rubrolabiatus

The relatively recently described Red-lipped River Cichlid is known only from the Badi River (Kolente River basin) in Guinea, West Africa. The fish grows to 6.5cm long. When breeding they can develop red lips. They form pairs and both protect the fry.
