Whitespot Eartheater Satanoperca (prev. Geophagus) leucosticta

The Whitespot Eartheater is native to rivers of Guyana and Suriname. They are white with white iridescent spots on their faces and flanks - as shown in centre (with Demon Eartheaters and Flag Cichlid). They can show faint bars when stressed. Both parents carry their fertilised eggs in their mouths to protect them until they hatch and will also protect the hatchlings in their mouths.
