The Borleyi Cichlid, also called the Redfin/Goldfin Hap, is native to the shores of southern Lake Malawi
and Lake Malombe in East Africa. First described by science in the 1960s, the larger males grow to nearly 20cm. Males have a
goldish meshed body and a brilliant metallic blue head; females have a silver-grey body, sometimes meshed with gold, and grey head.
They eat algae and plankton.
