The Enigmatochromis lucanusi is a cichlid native only to the Foto River, a small river in Guinea, West Africa.
Known to science only in the early 2000s, it grows to 4-5 cm long. Sometimes called the Blue-finned, not the most prominent feature but after
the female which is a pinkish colour with a pale blue dorsal fin with one black spot and a clear tail; the male, shown above, has a clear
dorsal fin with several black spots at the back and black spots on the tail. Females develop red bellies when breeding.
