Lima Shovelnose Catfish Sorubim lima

The Lima Shovelnose Catfish, also called the Duckbill Catfish and Lima Sorubim, is native to many of South America's river basins, inhabiting lakes, slow-moving, flowing or even turbulent white-water systems.

Swimming and foraging vertically upsidedown gives camouflage. They grow to some 40-50cm long and have long whiskers.
