Phoenix Barb Spinibarbus denticulatus

The Phoenix Barb, also called the Chinese Phoenix Barb, is native to waters of the Yangtze Basin and other parts of China and Indochina (Laos and Vietnam).

It can grow to 70cm long, but more typically reaches some 40cm. Adults' pink face and fins become brighter, iridescent when breeding. Juveniles don't have the pink patches.
