The Silver Flying Fox, also called the Fishnet Flying Fox, is an algae-eater is native to rivers and streams of Thailand and IndoChina. It can grow to 17cm (7 inches) long.
Confusingly, it is sometimes called the Reticulated Siamese Algae-eater, leading to confusion with both the "Siamese Algae-eater", Crossocheilus oblongus/siamensis and the similar-looking (to Siamese Algae-eater) "Flying Fox Algae-eater", Epalzeorhynchos kalopterus, also of Southeast Asia and which is sometimes also referred to as the (Flying Fox) Siamese Algae-eater.
